We are a small team of creative music enthusiasts who love attending gigs, listening to music and writing about it.

Our tongue in cheek name is inspired by enjoying photographing gigs and covering as many bands as possible.

Our musical tastes are pretty wide and encompass Americana, pop, rock, world music and more. If it's got a good melody and a cool riff we're happy to give it a listen.

Photogroupie's founders also have a background in performance and theatre art so we understand how hard it is to get up on that stage. We've performed at London's Roundhouse, St Martin's in the Fields, Abbey Road Studios and other venues along with teaching, stage managing and directing productions too.

 

As a result of this experience we try to  approach our reviews and interviews with understanding and sensitivity towards all musicians and performers.
