Wembley Arena 25 November 2014
Just as Pink Floyd release their latest album,
The Endless River (which takes its name from

The Division Bell track High Hopes) Brit Floyd,
the worlds greatest Pink Floyd tribute band
unveiled their latest show Discovery. Led by
musical director Damian Darlington, the team
behind the Classic Rock Show are as good as
you can get to seeing Pink Floyd. There are many
tributes to the band but few play at the level
that Brit Floyd do, having played at Red Rock
and David Gilmours birthday party!
Discovery is a fantastic voyage into the progressive world of Pink Floyd. The show offers an authentic experience with faithful renditions of the songs, a stunning and complex light show and video backdrops which were perfectly realised in The SSE Wembley Arena. Unlike Brit Floyds previous shows where they play more of the bands wider known songs, this tour is a real one for Floydphiles. Lesser known tracks such as Set The Controls To The Heart Of The Sun from A Saucerful of Secrets (1968),Young Lust and Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert were great to hear live. Of course the band couldn't get out of the arena without playing crown pleasers such as Comfortably Numb, Money,Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 andShine On You Crazy Diamond. They even give a tremendous performance of Great Gig In The Sky a track most bands wouldn't touch with a giant flying pig!
In the 4 years they have been performing they have taken the world by storm and are a very British tribute to a honoured and treasured British band.
