TELL US ABOUT YOUR LATEST ALBUM OR SINGLE
Our latest release was the song “Stone Cold Killer.” This was a song written about a fighter, specifically Stephen “Tomahawk” Townsel, a professional fighter in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). We aim to portray an energetic “Hype Song” vibe with the track.
WHICH SONG WOULD YOU SAY SUMS UP YOUR SOUND THE BEST?
Our New release coming soon is called “My Endless Nightmare.” This song sums up the AMOV sound more than any other to date. Personal Lyrics paired with an outstanding instrumental track make for our most anticipated song yet.
DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC IN A FEW WORDS.
AMOV is a six member “Nu” Metalcore band out of South Florida combining heavy riffs and melodic tones into a one-of-a-kind listening experience.
WHO HAVE YOUR BIGGEST INFLUENCES BEEN?
Our Music is influenced by so many different current and former musicians. What makes AMOV so special is that every member comes from a completely different background, and different interests. From Classic Rock to Current Metalcore and everything else in-between, the listener is sure to hear the different musical influences from each and every member.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MUSIC?
I personally got into music on a whim just a few years ago. Trying something out that I had always wanted to. After a couple of singles released with a more “Emo” sound, I was able to find AMOV, and the rest has been history.
WHAT IS THE CREATIVE PROCESS LIKE FOR YOU WHEN MAKING MUSIC?
The process starts with the Lead Guitarist, Desi. Desi writes all of the songs. After laying down drums and adding the other instruments, we tend to tweak the lyrical content as needed while tracking the vocals. A little trial and error and a lot of studio hours later, we find our finished product.
WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE THE COOLEST COLLABORATION PROJECT BETWEEN YOU AND ANOTHER ARTIST?
My personal choice would be to work with “Sueco.” He’s the reason I got into music. So for me personally, he is the easy choice. However, If you asked every member of the band, you would get a totally different answer from each member.

Random fact. Hmmmm. I am also a professional Deathmatch Wrestler. That’s pretty random.
WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE BEEN GIVEN?
My favorite piece of advice I’ve received in the entertainment industry is to “Never take advise from anybody you wouldn’t trade places with.” There are a million nobodies in the industry that will all tell you they know best. “Do this, do that.” At the end of the day, Authenticity is the only way to stay relevant in such an oversaturated musical market.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THE INDUSTRY, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
The Industry changes daily. Truthfully, I wouldn’t change anything about the industry today. I wish artists got more royalties from streaming platforms of course, but the current landscape allows for people more than ever before to show their talents.

We are currently finishing up a 5 song EP under the “Wake up Music Rocks” label. Stone Cold Killer was the first, so stay tuned for the rest!
