FROM USING A 90s ATARI TO BLENDING GENRES, WE TALK TO PROCESSOR

PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF

My artist name is Processor: Independent electronic music producer. Home studio dude.

I started doing music with Atari 1040 around 1990 mostly cinematic music in the beginning recording on cassettes just for fun.

1998 I bought a PC with a dedicated sound card and was more into drum and bass music.

2004 I released the album Insomnia on the label Magnatune more into industrial/Breaks.

2011 I started my own label Processor now more into house/Synth

2022 I'm blending everything regarding genre's Rock. Metal. Industrial. Synth. Pop. Cinematic.

14 albums and 82 singles released so far and more to come

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW ALBUM OR SINGLE?

Yet We Remain by Processor is coming out April 21.

It’s a cinematic Ep.

WHAT INSPIRED THE ALBUM OR SINGLE?

I’m trying to do three songs with the same theme.

1Yet we remain (classical with piano)

2 The Claim (a touch of 80is and more up-tempo)

3 Respond (a variation)

All three are the same chords but in different moods.

CAN YOU SUM UP THE ALBUM IN A FEW WORDS?

Dramatic and beautiful.

WHAT RECORD CHANGED YOUR LIFE AND WHY?

Violator by Depeche Mode.

When it came out I just listened to again and again..looking at the cover as you did in those days

DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO FILMED BY YOUR BAND OR ANOTHER

ARTIST?

Karma Police by Radiohead..

WHAT WOULD WE FIND YOU DOING WHEN YOU'RE NOT MAKING MUSIC?

Something creative maybe art or something like that.

HOW DO YOU WRITE?

I do everything. But I do a lot of collaboration with the artist Samtar. Small Civil War

Modesty Beast. When we work on these two bands I mainly do the production and music sometimes lyrics.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Life itself. Just being around other people and listening you get the most inspiration. Books are great too.

WHAT IS NEXT?

Small Civil War & Processor is releasing

A Pop-Rock banger May 12

Called “Blankets”
