Brave Rival Release Second Album ‘Fight or Flight’—Out Now on All Platforms
Brave Rival are fast-rising and are ready to cement their place in the upper ranks of British Rock. The band’s second album, Fight or Flight, is now available across all platforms. This 12-track album showcases the band’s evolution, once again produced, engineered, and mixed by the hotly rated Tarrant Shepherd. The album, like their debut, was proudly crowdfunded by their loyal Bravians.
Brave Rival are spearheaded by dual vocalists Chloe Josephine and Lindsey Bonnick, giving the band a distinctive edge; and they’re aided by the instrumental talents of Donna Peters (Drums, Percussion and Acoustic Guitar); Ed ‘the Shred’ Clarke (Guitars); and Billy ‘Danger’ Dedman (Bass Guitar).
"We are so excited for the release of Fight or Flight," says Lindsey. "It has been an incredible journey from start to now. We poured our hearts and soul into this album, and I think it shows on songs like 'Heavy,' 'Insane,' and 'Stars Upon My Scars.'"
Billy adds, "I love this band and our fans. What a year it's been. And the best part is, this isn't even the end. Now we get to tour the album and bring the Fight or Flight show to the masses, and we cannot wait!"
The band’s pride in their work is evident, with Donna reflecting on the album's reception: "I’m so proud of this album because the response we got from our first album Life’s Machine was just incredible, and the response and reviews we’re getting from this album is even better, which is so rare with a second album. What we do is so real. I think every person that listens to Fight or Flight will find a song that they will connect with, and that’s powerful. I’m just so proud."
Brave Rival also premiere their video for their latest single, "Bad Choices." HERE
"We were really racking our brains on what the 'Bad Choices' video should be," says Chloe. "Then one day, whilst on tour in Czechia, we had a brainwave and thought, how cool would it be if the video featured loads of funny fails and videos from our own lives to represent the bad choices we’ve all made."
Ed explains further, "From there, it sort of morphed into the concept of the video being from the perspective of a fan on their phone navigating spoof social media platforms. We wanted to include as many of our fans, friends, and peers as we could. Lindsey worked on the video for a few months and did an amazing job!"
A 10/10 from Powerplay Magazine, a 5/5 from Music-News who say ““It is a real statement, a maturing of the band and something that stands above most of the material I’ve heard this year.”
These are just a few of the outstanding reviews coming though for this album from a band destined for greatness.
Brave Rival start their “Fight Or Flight” tour tonight at Oxford. This tour includes their special album launch show at London’s Dingwalls on September 12th.
